Podcast Cover Exercise - "Speak His Truth"
For this project I was directed to utilize Photoshop to craft a distinctive podcast cover. The objective was to employ my knowledge of typography and design to create an impactful and practical cover for the podcast. The project requirements included devising an original title, incorporating at least one manipulated image, using two different typefaces that visually capture the essence of the podcast, and ensuring a design that establishes a contrast between the typography and the background. To initiate the process, I brainstormed various layout ideas, title concepts, and color schemes. Prior to being assigned this project, I had contemplated starting a podcast, which provided me with many ideas to work from. Consequently, I chose to develop a podcast titled 'Speak His Truth,' aiming to dig deeper into God word and how we should live it out daily. The design of the podcast cover aimed to convey the personality and ambiance of the podcast itself. I envisioned it to be engaging, lively, welcoming, and real. The colors, patterns, images, and fonts I selected were carefully curated to embody this description flawlessly.
